Question: Did you buy a hank of yarn with 420 yards or use 420 yards? I bought some Miss babs sock yarn to make these socks and it has approx. 400 yds. Will I need more?

I'm a new knitter so I'm confused about 6 & 7. I have 32 stitches on the needle. Slipping stitches doesn't decrease any. So how do I get down to the number of stitches on step 8? I've never tried socks before and I thought this pattern looked like something I could handle, but I'm stumped! Please help?

I love your socks. I am a new sock knitter and I've come across this in a pattern. Work x rounds straight. The sock has a patterned section in it. I don't really understand what working a round straight.

I hope you can explain it.

Thank you so much for the pattern. I just finished them using Kintpicks new chroma yarn and they look fantastic. I stayed on the size 2 needles for the feet and they fit like a glove. thanks again!
